I am a platform engineer with approximately seven years of experience working primarily in Java, TypeScript, and Node.js on GCP with Spring Boot.
My career spans two domains that shaped how I think about systems at scale — and one common thread running through both of them.
Experience
NielsenIQ — market data
I work on binary data delivery at scale: querying retail measurement data out of databases and shipping it to downstream systems as binary payloads through the delivery pipeline’s filters and enrichments, rather than as documents. I have contributed to the pipeline’s configuration-handling framework and to its file-handling service, and I supervised the migration of prediction services (such as a pricing forecast backend) onto the delivery pipeline — making them robust. I now work on AI-driven initiatives.
Allianz Technology — motor insurance
I worked on a motor-insurance platform, operating at the intersection of Contract, Claims, and Document lifecycles. I led a five-person document team and drove the shift toward event-driven systems and microservices.
Across both roles, the common thread is data delivery — taking data out of databases and getting it, reliably and at scale, into the form downstream consumers actually need: binary payloads today, documents earlier in my career.
Stack
The stack I actually use, in the three groups that matter for this kind of work:
| Area | Tools |
|---|---|
| Languages | Java · TypeScript · Node.js |
| Platform | Spring Boot · Google Cloud Platform · Kafka · PostgreSQL |
| Focus | data delivery · event-driven systems · microservices · cost optimization |
Why this site exists
This portfolio is the frame — a curated narrative hub that points at LinkedIn (where recruiters find me) and GitHub (where code lives). The frame, not the painting. The work itself is in the writing archive, grouped into case studies and posts.
The site is Hugo (Extended) with PaperMod, built free on GitHub Pages — the content is Markdown, and the site regenerates on every push.
The best way to reach me is GitHub or LinkedIn; I don’t publish a contact email here.
